Group Classes


Fitness classes, otherwise known as group training, is a great way to socialise, get fit and have a laugh all in one session. It’s a great way to be part of a team where everyone helps motivate each other. From the well-known Les Mills (Body Pump/Body Combat/CX Worx/Body Balance) to Spin, New You will offer you a great instructor and guarantee a fun workout.

Body Pump

BODYPUMP is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast.

Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 540 calories*. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.


Body Combat

Step into a BODYCOMBAT workout and you’ll punch and kick your way to fitness, burning up to 740 calories*

Along the way. This high-energy martial-arts inspired workout is totally non-contact and there are no complex moves to master. A LES MILLS instructor will challenge you to up the intensity and motivate you to make the most of every round. You’ll release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ.

Body Balance

Ideal for anyone and everyone, BODYBALANCEis the yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life.

During BODYBALANCE an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm and centered. RPM

RPM is a group indoor cycling workout where you control the intensity. It’s fun, low impact and you can burn up to 675 calories a session*.

With great music pumping and the group spinning as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding. In an RPM workout you repeatedly spin the pedals to reach your cardio peak then ease back down, keeping pace with the pack to lift your personal performance and boost your cardio fitness.RPM is a great way to build up your sense of personal achievement. You can draw on the group’s energy and find your rhythm in the music. You control your own resistance levels and speed so you can build up your fitness level over time. It’s a journey, not a race!

Spin

In spin class, you pedal along on a stationary bike as the instructor guides you through a visualization of an outdoor workout. The pace and speed will vary throughout the workout, sometimes requiring break-neck speed, and other times pedaling happens from a slow, standing position. If you’ve never been to a spin class, don’t be intimidated. The first thing you should know is that everyone has been a beginner at one point or another!


Metafit

Formed by a former Royal Marine Commando and an international gymnast in 2010, Metafit is the original group X HIIT workout. 30 minute, non choreographed, bodyweight only workouts that set the metabolism on fire.

With new programs being added all the time, you will never fail to be challenged and reap the rewards of Metafit. As this is a no equipment class, all levels of fitness and capabilities are welcome.

Aqua

Join in the fun in this fabulous water-based workout designed to suit all abilities. A total body workout incorporating equipment such as noodles and aqua gloves for added resistance against the water, this class will leave you feeling like you have worked hard whilst increasing your energy levels.
