My Story

I started my journey many years ago, being involved in any sport at school from a very early age. I’ve always loved sport, participating in anything from hockey to netball to cross country running, which fortunately, I continued when I left school.
Looking after what you are born with is so important, by having someone to aspire to can keep you going on those hard days. My dad is my inspiration, at 83 he trains 4 times a week and walks every day. The days where I find it difficult, I remind myself of him and his motivation to keep going.
Although I was always involved in sport, I didn’t start teaching until 2006 at Bannatynes, after being approached by a fitness manager, who had asked whether I had ever considered teaching the element of fitness. It didn’t take me long to consider, the passion I have for fitness was enough to convince me that this would be perfect for me.
Fast forward a few years, I now work freelance at various locations throughout Shrewsbury and have the pleasure of working with endless amounts of talented fitness instructors, broadening my knowledge each day.
My passion is to help people rediscover and ignite the flame that may have lost its way through pregnancy, injury, illness and install that sense of drive and self-belief back, even strengthening that initial belief by working together.
